The story of....

the helping hand.

I bought this Hamburger Helping Hand at the Kansas Speedway at Clint Bowyer's souvenior trailer. I FINALLY had the opportunity to take the boy on a NASCAR trip. This one was very special because it was one of the major races in the race for Sprint Cup Chase. I thought we needed some extra support, so I brought the boy along to help out.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so good to be home. As much as I adore Bristol Motorspeedway....I was very very very glad to get home to my dog. I LOVE YOU CHEERIO and I missed you so much!

Day 234

Coming home from Bristol with the new bike......he didn't ride it home but sat on it several times on gas stops :) Here was one. He loves this bike! 

It's BRISTOL baby.......

....and one of my favorite tracks on the whole NASCAR circuit. I love Bristol. I love the atmosphere. I love how loud Bristol is. I love how fast it is. I love the Chicken Strips (insert giggle) I just plain and simply love Bristol. Gotta love a place where you can actually feel the speed of the cars through your whole body. It's....BRISTOL BABY!!!

Look how color coordinated the Bowyer Stock's are ready to cheer on our driver. I never really planned us to match this good, but we did. 

There is my favorite driver on the big ole screen. Smiling before the race and after the race. That's a good thing. I love how they introduced the drivers and they came out to their favorite song playing. Wish I could remember what Clint's was. I was so excited that I forgot to listen to his song :) 

The pre-race festivites were fantastic! Lots of American pride and fireworks and flyovers. 

This was a particularly important race for Clint because the beginning of the chase for the cup was just a mear  three races away. He didn't let me down bringing home an impressive 4th place finish after starting 24th. That made my whole night, week, day......

Day 233

WOW....day 33 and to imagine this.......Clint gets 4th. This was a happy happy night for me. All those miles and my driver gets 4th on the 233 day of the year. I am soooooo proud of you Clint. This smile says it all....

Day 232

A good feeling for Bristol. Clint finished 7th in the Nationwide race. Bring on the cup race. Loose tire and still in the top 10. We love ya driver!!!!!!!!!
