the best breakfast ever. I love Ron's homemade French Toast....my bacon rocks, but Ron French toast is comforting. What a nice day. Ron cleaned his office, I cleaned the kitchen and made us a nice steak supper.......

Always the best Sunday treat ever.....is Ron's famous french toast......covered in powered sugar and butter....but it is awesome without the special yummy on it.

Even though Cheetos aren't the ones I always pick.....today it was. Ron and I ate half this bag when I brought them home from Werts. LOVE me some puffy Cheetos....

Day 29

After driving from Duncan to Grand Island to pick up a new bed for Cheerio...I ended up in Greeley watching my nephew Wrestle. A second place isn't too bad after wrestling the number one kind in your weight class!! This is actually a photo my niece took, but with the camera I gave her......my nephew is the one pinning this kid....and he did!!

Day 28

CONGRATULATIONS to my Nephew on his 100th Career High School Wrestling win. I can't believe my little wrestler is already a Junior. This is the Shell I bought him cause that is his nickname from Sheldon. I love you kiddo. He is soooo much more than a great wrestler.......he's a great kid!

All that remains of the "extras' from our Mexico trip other than clothes unpacking........one boarding pass from Memphis to Omaha, my car phone charger which I didn't need without a car (silly me) and one bag of Delta Airlines Dry Roasted Nuts........

We found the Senor Frogs......in Playa del Carma. My new hat, my trusty Coke-cola "light", "RIP' my Alco 3.99 Sunglass that are now somewhere at the bottom of the Ocean or on some beach, and a refreshing Sex on the Beach.......

Send me to the sand, put Sunglasses on my face, lay me on a beach chair in the sun, turn on my I-Pod..........watch me have no care in this world.

NEBRASKA......and hello Mexico. Spent the night at a hotel in Omaha. Went out  for Supper at the Casino with Mike and Kendra. Had some pre Mexico drinks with our fellow Duncan Lakes friends......LIKE IS GREAT!! Too bad for the EARLY flight tomorrow......

We are leaving on a Jet Plane tomorrow bound for Mexico......and I have had my bags packed since December.

Day 20

Today was Auction day for me. So I decided to take this photo of my computer screen, as you can see I am in it too :) Turned out kind of cool when all I wanted was my Non-Lotted Auction Entry screen :) Somedays I LOVE this machine and the next day I want to chuck it out the back door, but it is my only tool to get my job done and with me.....that is my main goal....to Clerk and do it 100%.

Day 19

Oh how these two love to play. Cheerio and I have alot of fun during the day but it is such a treat to have Ron. Cheerio knows that all he has to do is go get his toys and soon it is him and Ron running around the good ole lakehouse. Tonight I think the weather was getting to Cheerio again and he really want to play. Anytime you hear the famous......squeak, squeak, squeak.........he's ready to roll.

Day 18

Another Monday and another post about a few of the things that make Ron tick. Today, it is his Alltel aircard. This is his connection to the internet world. This is his tool to check his email. A couple of other things that are part of Ron accidently got photo graphed including his billfold and his computer, but most importantly is this little blue power packed prince who carries the ability to connect Ron to the world. 

Day 17

Even Cheerio decided that it was a good afternoon to curl up on my awesome new Checkered flag blanket that his Aunt Cindy made me for Christmas. I always wanted one of those blankets and leave it to Cindy to make me one. It is the perfect cuddle up blanket to watch some Sunday afternoon football. Can't wait to break it in on a NASCAR race.

Day 16

My photo of this day is my brother and nephew after my nephew beat the number 2 ranked wrestler at the 125 weight class. I love you both so much. OMG I adore this photo...I am so proud of you Sheldon. This is my favorite photo of this year. Did I mention I love this photo. This photo warms my

heart....

Day 15

Today I actually used the 365 prompt at Gotta Pixel. This is what I did for myself today to make me feel pretty. Got my hair cut! Alot shorter than usual only most people can't tell it was that much, but I love it and I feel alot more comfortable.

Happy almost 103rd Birthday.....

...to my beautiful and gracious Grandmother. Today I headed for "home" to spend the day with Mom. Grandma and then to Sheldon's Wrestling meet in Battle Creek with my Sister-in-law Barb and Mom. It was such a wonderful day. I went out for lunch with Mom at the City Cafe. Spent the afternoon with Grandma, then loaded up and headed for Battle to watch Sheldon wrestle.

Day 14

Saturday is my Grandmother's 103rd Birthday, that's right my Father's Mother is going to be 103. She is such a special lady and the best Gram ever! I love her soooo much. Today I celebrated her birthday a little early with her and I wouldn't trade that for anything.

This is the end of my driveway that is FINALLY open to completely two lanes after the Christmas Blizzard....OK so it isn't completely open.....HOLY CRAP it is January 13th folks!!!

Day 13

Another day, another item of Ron. This little book, or one similar goes everywhere Ron goes. Even though he has carried around a PDA for years. I think having a little book to write numbers and notes in makes him feel comfortable. I wonder just how many of these little fella's we have in boxes and drawers from years past.

Entertaining yourself.....

is as easy as 1-2-3. First, pick up your pig, second, drop him down the stairs, three run after him.....repeat! So THIS is what happens when I am preoccupied with other things, Cheerio resorts to entertaining himself. He spent almost 20 minutes chasing that pig up and down the stairs and then three hours sleeping it off.

Day 12

I finally figured out how smart my Cheerio dog is......when he wants to play and I am doing other things. This morning I found him dropping his toy pig down the stairs, running to get it, taking it back up and dropping it again. Thats how my smart puppy entertains himself when everyone is too busy to play. 

Day 11

because I wanted my 365 project to focus on US....this week, I have decided to get photos of some of the things that represent Ron. Here is probably the biggest one. His phone. Just a few short years ago, Ron didn't even email now he has a Blackberry and browses the Internet. You really don't see Ron without this little fella too often. It was a miracle that I even got this photo! 

Day 10

Every year since I was a little girl my Godmother has made me this Santa cookies. Every year he looks different, had a little different shape, but without him........it just isn't that same. My favorite is his "red hot" belly button :)

Smart cat......

..and here's the proof. After spending quite some time looking for McCook, I finally found her all bundled up in his little blanket on our bed. She found one of the softest and warmest places, my little lamb blanket. Sneaky little cat. I can tell you that she did this ALL by herself. She must have worked pretty hard to get her little nest made, and is quite comfortable there and will probably stay there for some time. Funny little girl.  I know she was thinking "please just take the picture and then leave". Love you cookie girl.

 

Day 9

Even McCook loves to curl up and cuddle in for a long winter's nap. This is a special little blanket that I have on my bed and McCook found it. I found her all safe, sound and warm.

365 Assistant

McCook just will not stay away from the computer and me. If it is on the kitchen counter, she's there. If it is one my desk, she's there. If it is on my lap, she's there. I think mainly because the computer is warm, but it is also the place where Cheerio can't get her. As I was working on uploading my 365 photos for the day, she was right there with me making sure there were no typos and generally just staring at me. Since Cheerio came along, poor McCook has had lots of adjustments, but mainly getting use to a puppy chasing after her, but they have learned to tolerate each other. She is such a good kitty cat and a very good assistant....I love cookie bear!

Day 8

Today is the day that my decorations all go down. I always leave them up till the 7th or 8th of January. So good year to one of my favorite Christmas Ornaments and my silver tree......see ya in December.......

Birthday Girl.....

of the day today is Ms Angie Stock-Landauer.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my wonderful Sister-in-law who is not only a great SIL but a wonderful Mom and Wife. Here is wishing you a wonderful day, even though the weather is not cooperating, at least you are snowed in with your family. Here's to many more! Love you!!

I just get the biggest bang out of this photo. Look at how serious Angie was about getting a shot of her parents at their Anniversary party in July, 2009. After she managed to get her Dad's hat off, she meant business. I couldn't resist taking this picture of her :) She is such a fun person.

Day 7

Yes I will admit it...I LOVE Ramen Noodles. There is nothing like a little Chicken flavored Ramen when your feeling a little blue and it's REALLY COLD.....like -3 degrees with a 45 MPH wind.

Nothing like a soothing pile of noodles for under a $1.00!

....and it just keeps getting worse. Another two solid days of snow on top of the already 18-20 inches we had, plus another four, plus ???????  I have a feeling we will have snow until the Fourth of July. Now you can add a nice stiff wind to this snow = white out conditions. I am glad that I am able to stay home most of today, except for a quick trip into town. The pets don't want to go outside today either and I don't blaim them. So I am off to do a couple of "snow day" projects that I have planned. Wonder what the rest of this month will hold.........

Once again one of Ron's cooking sprees ended up in one big mess. A mess on my stove, all over the backsplash and continuing to the microwave. Of course it HAD to be spaghetti sauce!! Of course the dirty plate works perfectly as a lid.

Back to the old.....

grind again. It is always so difficult for me to get back into my routine after almost nearly a month of Holiday preparations, celebrations and relaxing. It always goes by so quickly. This year was particularly relaxing after a Blizzard on Christmas Day snowed us in for almost three days. I have so many things on my agenda for 2010 that I look forward to crossing them off my list.  SO Monday morning is back to my scrapbooking duties, dishes, litter boxes, vacuuming, making the bed and.....
