Proud of the boys.....

I am so proud of both of these men. My DH (on the right) and my BIL on the left. They have managed to build a business together that sustains us as well as our employees and their families. Sometimes, I look around and think...."This is us, these are the people who make US work" If I had to pick two men to do business with....it would be them.......I love you both! I am so proud of both of you.

Where oh where has Kristin been????

WORKING! GONE! ON THE ROAD! Living out of a suitcase.......or a camper.......right now...glad to be home......even if it is for just a few days :) I spent the last week in McCook Nebraska working. It was a nice week, lots of work, but worth the time being away. I think that fact that we want be together, changes work to life......

I am....glad it rained today.
I want...Clint Bowyer to win a NASCAR race this year (preferably Kansas) :)...
I wish...I could stick to my caloric reduction program so I look half way decent for our Cancun trip
I hate...that hardly anyone in my immediate family calls me. (repeat of this one)
I miss....dirtrack racin with the Ansons!

Ahhhh Huskers..show USC THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE NEBRASKA....

I am a pretty big Husker fan...OK I am major crying, sweating, fist pounding, cushing Husker....and right now it is all about Football and Volleyball. Ron and I went to the football game last week and what a great day. Even though it rained for tailgating it stopped one hour prior to game time and today, even though we didn't go (oh and there was more rain), what a great and awesome game! We love our Huskers! I wanted to post some of the pictures off Huskers.com in honor of the football team and in honor of our hometown Husker Andy Shanle. Go #8 and good luck Husker against USC next week. Prove that there is indeed NO place like Nebraska! GOD I love Football season!

Wish I had just one more time......

I never thought I would face a simple challenge that would make me so sad, but the time has come for Dave to hang up the ole racing shoes and helmet, at least in the 18 car, the car he has driven for years. It really hit me on Friday night when I realized that might be last time I ever saw driver in the 18 car. I was sad and a little relieved that there would be no more worry about something happening to him, but NOW I just have to worry about his son. Watchin Dave race has been my routine, my passion, my excitement for years and it is very hard to say goodbye. If I had just one more time to watch you race Dave.....I would not change a thing. Thanks for making my last night one of best. You have never let me down, I have never been not proud of you......you are and always will be our driver and our friend.
