Root Beer and Victory Lane.........

I was so stinking excited when my NASCAR Driver Clint Bowyer won on Sunday. His first season at Michael Waltrip Racing and a win! I forgot to do my usual OMG my driver won photos. So I watched the replay of the race on speed today while doing some stuff in my house.

The Burnout Champ....has the opportunity to do it for real. 

I gave up drinking Pop almost three years ago, but my monthly treat? A Big ole can or fountain of Bargs Rootbeer. I never really drank all that much rootbeer before but Rootbeer once a month is better than Diet Coke every day. It reminds me of riding with my Dad in the Truck taking cattle to Verdigree loaded with cattle and stopping in Tilden for a Rootbeet float. I have NO idea what Rootbeer they used but I can almost taste those floats in the truck with Dad.....and sometimes we had them with Hamburgers at home.........

and I will do anything to celebrate a Clint Bowyer win! Especially, when it was his first win with his new team! I am an idiot. I had my friend take this picture of me. This is actually a trophy that my friend Dave gave me when he won at the Boone County Raceway. I LOVE this trophy and I am little worried about my sanity at this point :)

It was a great day. I love when my driver wins but this was extra special! It proved ALOT to all those debby doubters....way to Go Clint!
