35 years.....

....since a devasting tornado hit Omaha Nebraska.

I am not sure if I "remember" this or if was just one of those moments that everyone talked about and I "remember".  It is hard for me to believe that 35 years ago it was humid and so stormy. Tonight is is COLD. Raining and very cold very cold 47 degree rain. 

Day 126

We have been trying and trying for months, since Pam stopped grooming to find someone who could give Cheerio a nice cute cut! I think I finally found someone. Thank you Terri for the lovely cut you gave our boy!

Day 125

Today, I started on a project with my Mom. After I got a haircut, I traveled home to help Mom start sorting out and organizing her photos. Obviously I did not take this photo. This is my Dad. I chose this as my photo today because I have never seen this photo before and it just reminded me of my Dad and some of things he enjoyed. Dogs. Hunting and old cars........

Todays' photo of the day....is about Lessons learned. I had to attend Clete Werner's funeral with Ron and I always get the worst headaches during funerals. So I thought I would take a Tylenol before I left to stop any headache from attacking me. Well as the day went on I got more tired and more tired and more tired.......so when I got home I checked and sure enough I had taken Tylenol PM and NOT regular Tylenol....no wonderful I almost dozed off during the service!

Meat and Jose.........a perfect combination. I have nothing more to add, other than the steaks were delicious!

Our friends from the Lake treated several of us with a little special May Day surprise. How fun! We heard a knock on the door and then found this. I loved being surprised with a little treat.....
