Day 147

In preparation for the weekend.......I made the awesome Chex and Nut snack that our sweet friend Kay makes.....LOVE IT!

Day 146

I went to visit Dad today......to bring him flowers in prep for Memorial day. We had a talk. I told him how very very very much I miss him and how he is the best dad in the whole world...................I wish he could see us now.................I LOVE YOU DAD!

Day 145

For some reason today I was in a very....look around you mood and notice all the good stuff........

and it was a great day!

Reflecting on the only photos.....

that I can find comparing the Opryland Hotel flood during and after. I think this really says something for me. I have been to the Hotel several times and it truly breaks my heart. It was one of the places over the years I actually recognize and knew what was flooding.  It has been nearly a month since the floods but I still think about one of my favorite places....Nashville. The Nashville Opryland Resort was a truly beautiful place and I hope to go back soon and take part in helping them recover......

Day 144

Upon arriving home on Friday May 21st, we found our "master bath" completely tore apart. Worst, toren out were the wrong walls. Then began...the great master bath remodel 2010. Which meant that everything in that bathroom had to go in our "guest" bath. NOT a fun task. We had ALOT of stuff to cram in this one cabinet. So I managed to purge and organize this cabinet so everything would fit. 

Day 143

It was such a gorgeous Sunday and had the best day just hanging out with the neighbors and letting Cheerio play in the sand.....

Day 142

Nothing like a Saturday filled with digging holes in the sand.......leaving one sandy faced little digger :)
