The good news and the bad.....
First the good news...I am not dead, sick and no one has died that is close to me, but I can't not attend the 2008 Scrapfest as planned. LONG drawn out story, and NOTHING makes me sadder than this, but it is unavoidable and really ticks me off, but life goes on and you all know I love you!

Time for....
the I-pod Shuffle.....
It's:
Guitars, Cadillacs
Artist: Dwight Yoakam
Girl you taught me how to hurt real bad and cry myself to sleep
You showed me how this town can shatter dreams
Another lesson about a naive fool that came to Babylon
And found out that the pie don't taste so sweet
Chorus:
Now it's guitars, Cadillacs and hillbilly music
And lonely, lonely streets that I call home
Yeah my guitars, Cadillacs and hillbilly music
Is the only thing that keeps me hanging on
There ain't no glamour in this tinseled land of lost and wasted lives
And painful scars are all that's left of me
But thank you girl for teaching me brand new ways to be cruel
And if I can find my mind now, I guess I'll just leave
Chorus:
And it's guitars, Cadillacs and hillbilly music
And lonely, lonely streets that I call home
Yeah my guitars, Cadillacs and hillbilly music
Is the only thing that keeps me hanging on
It's the only thing that keeps me hanging on
It's the only thing that keeps me hanging on
It is on my I-Pod because it simply reminds me of the good ole days. Dancing, DJing and having late nights with friends.

SO much....
for coming home to the lake following the City of Lincoln Auction, going swimming, going on a boat ride and taking the golf cart out. We both crashed not more than an hour being home and then crashed again. We woke up in time to watch Clint race the Nationwide race and then went to bed permantely. MAN.......that was a long and HOT day. It could have been worse if the sun would have been blazing on us all day, but we were lucky enough to have clouds till the last three minutes of the auction.
You know it is going to be a hot day when you arrive at 6:45 in the morning and you are sweating :) hehehehe....that is HOT and HUMID.

I can't believe....
...that my babies are sitting this close to each other without killing one another. Button and McCook sitting on the chairs on the porch. No fighting. No hissing...just both sitting there looking so cute.
I love them both no matter what......and when I am gone..I miss them terribly!
....my sweet sweet Button. We have had you forever. I love love you to bits. You are my special, sweet girl. I miss you all the time and you are my good kitty!
McCook the newest of them....not so new anymore but still the little baby. Spoiled, pampered and sooooooo sweet.

Hit it Kristin....
Shuffle that is.....drum roll:
It IS!
Are you kidding me! This darn song makes my head hurt. PLEASE for the love of god..........NO ONE make an auctioneer song. No Clerk wants to hear an auctioneer on her day off........
It is on my Ipod for obvious reasons....and Ron always sings it the best!
It is:
THE AUCTIONEER
By: Leroy Van Dyke
Hey well all right sir, open the gate
Letem out and walkem boys
Here we come with lot number twenty-nine
What are you gonna give for the little fella
Well there was a boy from arkansas who wouldnt listen to his ma
When she told him that he should go to school
Hed sneak away in the afternoon and take a walk and pretty soon
Youd find him at the local auction barn
Hed stand and listen carefully until at last he began to see
How the auctioneer could talk so rapidly
He said oh my, its do or die, Ive got to learn that auction cry
Gonna make my mark and be an auctioneer
Well the time went by and he did his best and all could see he did not jest
He practiced calling bids both night and day
Til his pappy found him behind the barn just working up an awful storm
As he tried to imitate the auctioneer
His pop said son we just cant stand to have a mediocre man
Selling things at auction using our good name
Gonna send you off to auction school and then youll be nobodys fool
And you can take your place among the best
And from that boy that went to school there grew a man who played it cool
He come back home a full fledged auctioneer
And the people would come from miles around
Just to hear him make that rhythmic sound
That filled their hearts with such a happy cheer
And his fame spread out from shore to shore
Hed all that he could do and more
He had to buy a plane to get around
Now hes the best in all the land, lets pause and give that man a hand
For hes the best of all the auctioneers
...and as much I see you guys.....I love each and every one of you! We make a great team!
I have one commment...what auctioneer fills hearts with such a happy cheer....fills mine with....Good lord are we done yet :)
It IS!

HIT Shuffle.....
...and you get:
Redneck Yacht Club
By: Craig Morgan
I am LMAO!! This is on here because I think this song is hilarious....and then I moved to Duncan Lakes...it has a WHOLE NEW MEANING now....here is to my friends at Duncan Lakes!! My Redneck Yacht Club friends.......love you guys!!!!!! and Here is only two of you :)
I'm meetin' my buddies out on the lake
We're headed out to a special place we love
That just a few folks know
There's no signin' up and no monthly dues
Take your Johnson, your Mercury, or your Evinrude and fire it up
And meet us out at party cove
Come on in the waters fine
Just idle on over and toss us a line
Bass trackers, bayliners, and a party barge
Strung together like a floatin' trailer park
Anchored out and gettin' loud all summer long!
Side by side there's five houseboat front porches
Astro turf, lawn chairs, and tiki torches
Regular joes rockin the boat, that's us!
The Redneck Yacht Club
Bermudas flip flops and a tank top tan
He popped his first top at ten A.M. that's Bob
He's our president
We're checkin' out the girls on the upper deck
Rubbin in the 15 spf it's hot
Everybody jumpin' in
Later on when the sun goes down
Well pull out the jar and the ol' guitar
And pass them around!
Bass trackers, bayliners, and a party barge
Strung together like a floatin' trailer park
Anchored out and gettin' loud all summer long!
Side by side there's five houseboat frontporches
Astro turf, lawn chairs, and tiki torches
Regular joes rockin' the boat, that's us!
The Redneck Yacht Club
When the partys over and we're all alone we'll be makin' waves in a no wake zone!
Bass trackers, bayliners, and a party barge
Strung together like a floatin' trailer park
Anchored out and gettin' loud all summer long!
Side by side there's five houseboat front porches

27 Dresses.............
was the movie of the night tonight. Ron and I borrowed that movie from the Newman Grove Boschen's and decided to watch it last night after returning from Kansas. We both had more fun giggling over the fact that the whole first part of the movie reminded us of the wedding we attended over the week.
We both enjoyed laughing and thought that the movie was fun and cute. We always like a movie that ends happy :) and 27 Dresses sure did have a happy ending.
I however, wasn't the happiest person when I arrived home to still find two trailers and a forlift parked on the cement by our shed. Did we not ask it to be removed??? Apparently this is a very diffcult task...and people wonder why I get so frustrated!!!!!

Congratulations Ed & Hadassah
This week Ron and I combined a business trip with a fun trip to attend Ed and Hadassah's wedding in Colby. Hadassah pretty much has a handle on things in the Colby office. The strange this was, she married a guy from my hometown in Nebraska. Strange how our Secretary ends up marrying a guy from Newman Grove Nebraska, what a strange and small world.....but we sure did have a lovely time.
Thanks guys!

Wrinkles
By: DIAMOND RIO
Gettin' out of the tub all drawn up like a raisin
Showed my fingers to my Daddy while he was shavin'
Said look at my toes Dad what's wrong with my skin
Will this go away, will I be normal again
Well he picked me up and set me down on the hamper
Wiped off his face while he gave me the answer
For the first time I noticed the lines in his grin
As he dabbed a little foam on the end of my chin, he said
Those wrinkles ain't nothin' to be scared of
They're just a product of time and true love
Some are gonna come and go
Some are gonna come and stay
Son, you're still young, you're gonna be ok
Well, I walked down the hall, saw my Mom gettin ready
For a long over due date, dinner with Daddy
She was cussin' those crows feet, didn't know I was listenin'
Started talkin' ‘bout her younger years
And how much she missed them and I said
Those wrinkles ain't nothin' to be scared of
They're just a product of time and true love
Some are gonna come and go
Some are gonna come and stay
Mom you still look young, you're gonna be ok
As I get a little older, I'm startin' to get a few
And I'm sure I gave Mom and Dad at least one or two
We're all gonna have ‘em, there ain't no doubt
But those wrinkles in life ain't nothin' you can't iron out
Those wrinkles ain't nothin' to be scared of
They're just a product of time and true love
Some are gonna come and go
Some are gonna come and stay
I still feel young, I'm gonna be ok
Those wrinkles ain't nothin' to be scared of
They're just a product of time and true love
This is the sweetest song.......makes you appreciate those Wrinkles instead of hating them!

I am a little surprised.....
..by this, but I knew it was coming: (From www.nascar.com)
Stewart to leave JGR, join Haas CNC as part owner
Formal announcement set for 2:30 p.m. ET Thursday

Add another line to Tony Stewart's resume: team owner.
Joe Gibbs Racing announced Wednesday it has agreed to release Stewart, a two-time Cup Series champion, from the final year of his contract. In turn, Stewart is purchasing what is believed to be a 50 percent stake in Haas CNC Racing and will drive for the team in 2009.
"I cannot thank Joe and J.D. Gibbs enough for the opportunity they gave me and for the support they've given me throughout my entire NASCAR career," Stewart said in a team statement. "I've learned so much from them and have a tremendous amount of respect for what they've built.
Admiral move
Tony Stewart is taking a risk by, in essence, venturing out on his own. But in doing so he has a chance to secure a greater legacy, writes Joe Menzer.
"I've modeled my USAC and World of Outlaws teams the same way they built their NASCAR team, and I made it a point to find good people to run those programs. If I've learned anything from my time at Joe Gibbs Racing, it's that Joe Gibbs' saying of, 'You win with people,' is incredibly true. They always surrounded me with not just good people, but great people, and the results speak for themselves.
A formal announcement is expected on Thursday. Fans can watch the news conference live on NASCAR.COM at 2:30 p.m. ET
"We've had a lot of success with Tony in our 12 years here at Joe Gibbs Racing," said J.D. Gibbs, president of JGR. "While this moment is bittersweet, we're parting on good terms and we know that each of us has benefited greatly from the other.
"We grew to two teams in the Sprint Cup Series with Tony and The Home Depot in 1999, and two championships and 32 wins followed. While our time together is coming to an end, we know there's still a lot of racing left this season and we plan to make the most of it. On behalf of everyone at JGR, we're proud of everything we've accomplished together with Tony and we wish him the best in pursuing his dream of NASCAR team ownership."
Stewart was linked to Haas CNC Racing as early as Talladega weekend in April. At that time he said, "A wise person told me it never cost a dime to listen, so right now we're all ears."
Stewart ran five races for JGR in 1997 in what is now known as the Nationwide Series while competing full-time in the IRL IndyCar Series. After winning the IndyCar Series championship in 1997, Stewart upped his Nationwide Series schedule with JGR to 22 races in 1998 in preparation for his rookie season in the Cup Series in 1999.
With a then rookie-record three Cup wins, Stewart collected Raybestos Rookie of the Year honors and finished an impressive fourth in points. After finishing second in Cup points in 2001, Stewart scored his first championship in 2002 by 38 points over Mark Martin. He followed that championship with another title run in 2005 when he beat Greg Biffle for the crown by 35 points.
Stewart's parting from JGR at the conclusion of the 2008 season will end the longest active driver/crew chief relationship in the Sprint Cup garage. Greg Zipadelli will remain as crew chief of the No. 20 Toyota in 2009.
"We've accomplished so much in our 10 years together on the track, and off the track, he's been like a big brother to me. It's a friendship I cherish and expect to continue, even while he stays at Joe Gibbs Racing and I move on," Stewart said.
"No matter what, Tony and I will remain close friends," Zipadelli said. "I know when it comes to the No. 20 team, things will obviously be a lot different next year, but I remain as committed as ever this year to winning races with Tony and securing our spot in the Chase to contend for a third championship."
Stewart currently is 12th in the standings, just two points ahead of Kevin Harvick.
"We can still win races and compete for a championship and go out on top. For 2008, that's my number one goal," said Stewart, who will also compete for JGR in the two Nationwide races still remaining on his original, nine-race series schedule -- Friday at Chicagoland and Aug. 16 at Michigan.
Speculation is that Nationwide rookie Joey Logano will move into the No. 20 car vacated by Stewart. However, sources confirmed to NASCAR.COM that no decision has been made on who will replace Stewart on the team after this season.
"The 20 car has been one of the all-time great partnerships in NASCAR for the last decade with the combination of Tony, Zippy, The Home Depot and Joe Gibbs Racing," team owner Joe Gibbs said. "While we are losing one piece of the puzzle, we think the No. 20 team will remain strong for many years to come."
There is no word on Haas CNC's current stable -- including Scott Riggs in the No. 66 and the No. 70, which has had several drivers this season.

THE IPOD SHUFFLE......
here is how we play the I-Pod Shuffle. I hit shuffle on my I-Pod and I have to blog about that song that comes up first on my I-Pod..........today's song....
LIVING IN FAST FORWARD:
Kenny Chesney
First, why is it on my I-Pod and then the lyrics........
Living in Fast Forward is on my I-Pod cause I LOVE that song. It really does reflect my life. Four about 10 out of 12 months we travel alot and that is how I feel my life is during that time. During the "Auction circuit" I feel like a Hillbilly Rock Star :) hehehehe but mostly by the time I do get home I desperately need to rewind real slow!
LIVING in FAST FORWARD
Living In Fast Forward lyrics
The body's a temple, that's what we're told
I've treated this one like an old honky-tonk
Greasy cheeseburgers and cheap cigarettes
One day they'll get me if they ain't got me yet
'Cause I'm living in fast forward
A hillbilly rock star out of control
I'm living in fast forward
Now I need to rewind real slow
My friends all grew up, they settled down
Built nice little houses on the outskirts of town
They work in their office, drive SUVs
They pray for their babies and they worry 'bout me
'Cause I'm living in fast forward
A hillbilly rock star out of control
I'm living in fast forward
Now I need to rewind real slow
I'm always runnin'
Son of a gunnin'
I've had a good time it's true
But the way I've been goin'
It's time that I toned it
Down just a notch or two
Oh yeah ...
Well I'm living in fast forward
A hillbilly rock star out of control
I'm living in fast forward
Now I need to rewind real slow
Well I'm living in fast forward
A hillbilly rock star out of control
I'm living in fast forward
Now I need to rewind real slow
Yeah I need to rewind real slow
Yeah I still got some miles to go
PS! I really love Greasy Cheesburgers too :)

It is:
YOU MIGHT THINK
by: The Cars
Oh well uh you might think i'm crazy
To hang around with you
Or maybe you think i'm lucky
To have somethin' to do
But i think that you're wild
Inside me is some child
You might think i'm foolish
Or maybe it's untrue
(you might think i'm crazy)
You might think i'm crazy
(all i want is you)
But all i want is you
You might think it's hysterical
But i know when you're weak
You think you're in the movies
And everything's so deep
But i think that you're wild
When you flash that fragile smile
You might think it's foolish
What ya put me through
(you might think i'm crazy)
You might think i'm crazy
(all i want is you)
All i want is you
And it was hard so hard to take
There's no escape without a scrape
But you kept it going till the sun fell down
You kept it going
Oh well uh you might think i'm delirious
The way i run you down
But somewhere sometimes
When you're curious
I'll be back around
Oh i think that you're wild
And so-o uniquely styled
You might think it's foolish
This chancy rendezvous
(you might think i'm crazy )
You might think i'm crazy
(all i want is you)
All i want is you-a-oo
All i want is you
(all i want is you)
All i want is you
This was my speech song in High School. It always pumped me up and made me just a little more competive and when I went on to college.......it was my speech song again. So this is for my College speech team......you were some of the most awesome people I have known in my life....and I would love to see each one of you again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Little Willy
By: Sweet
North side, east side
Little Willy, Willy wears the crown, he's the king around town
Dancing, glancing
Willy drives them silly with his star shoe shimmy shuffle down
Way past one, and feeling alright
'Cause with little Willy round they can last all night
Hey down, stay down, stay down down
'Cause little Willy, Willy won't go home
But you can't push Willy round
Willy won't go, try tellin' everybody but, oh no
Little Willy, Willy won't go home
Up town, down town
Little Willy, Willy drives them wild with his run-around style
Inside, outside
Willy sends them silly with his star-shine shimmy shuffle smile
Mama done chase Willy down through the hall
But laugh, Willy laugh, he don't care at all
Hey down, stay down, stay down, down
'Cause little Willy, Willy won't go home
But you can't push Willy round
Willy won't go, try tellin' everybody but, oh no
Little Willy, Willy won't go home
Little Willy, Willy won't
Willy won't, Willy won't
Little Willy, Willy won't
Willy won't, Willy won't
Little Willy, Willy won't
Willy won't, Willy won't
Little Willy, Willy won't
Willy won't, Willy won't
Little Willy, Willy won't go home
But you can't push Willy round
Willy won't go, try tellin' everybody but, oh no
Little Willy, Willy won't go home
Little Willy, Willy won't go home
But you can't push Willy round
Willy won't go, try tellin' everybody but, oh no
Little Willy, Willy won't go home
Little Willy
By: Sweet
North side, east side
Little Willy, Willy wears the crown, he's the king around town
Dancing, glancing
Willy drives them silly with his star shoe shimmy shuffle down
Way past one, and feeling alright
'Cause with little Willy round they can last all night
Hey down, stay down, stay down down
'Cause little Willy, Willy won't go home
But you can't push Willy round
Willy won't go, try tellin' everybody but, oh no
Little Willy, Willy won't go home
Up town, down town
Little Willy, Willy drives them wild with his run-around style
Inside, outside
Willy sends them silly with his star-shine shimmy shuffle smile
Mama done chase Willy down through the hall
But laugh, Willy laugh, he don't care at all
Hey down, stay down, stay down, down
'Cause little Willy, Willy won't go home
But you can't push Willy round
Willy won't go, try tellin' everybody but, oh no
Little Willy, Willy won't go home
Little Willy, Willy won't
Willy won't, Willy won't
Little Willy, Willy won't
Willy won't, Willy won't
Little Willy, Willy won't
Willy won't, Willy won't
Little Willy, Willy won't
Willy won't, Willy won't
Little Willy, Willy won't go home
But you can't push Willy round
Willy won't go, try tellin' everybody but, oh no
Little Willy, Willy won't go home
Little Willy, Willy won't go home
But you can't push Willy round
Willy won't go, try tellin' everybody but, oh no
Little Willy, Willy won't go home

Say Hello....
to my newest friend.
Due to the untimely demise of my old blackberry who quite literally met it's waterloo (in a bucket of Amonia water) was QUICKLY and I do mean quickly replaced with this little gem here. At first I wasn't sure about the roller thingy, but MAN now.....this thing is the cats meow!!!!!!!!!!!
First and foremost, my internet access is much more user friendly! Second, I can actually have an IM conversation on this thing....WOW.....
Now if I could just find the cool Clint Bowyer background I had on my old one...I would be set!
Oh and I should have went to Vegas because my contract expired just DAYS actually a day before Dingle went diving.....
