Not too many kids showed up for Trick or Treats, even thought Mommy had a BIG BOWL of Chocolate, so now Daddy has to eat all those leftover Almond Joys that he loves so much. Poooorrrrr Daddy. I can't have Chocolate, but Daddy can!

Sleeping in...
So I can bark at the Trick-or-treaters. I LOVE my little brown bed. I take all my toys pile them in here then shake them all out. It is my game that I invented. I am Cheerio and I am very spoiled!

I LOVE Pinterest! The recipes are my favorite......and this one did NOT let me down......
Here is the recipe: 4 chicken breast at the bottom of crock pot. Pour stove top over chicken. Mix 1/2 C. sour cream and 1 can cream of chicken soup with 1/4 Cup water the pour over chicken and stuffing. Cook low 4 hours. Fluff and serve. Easy peasy!

Comfort......
I just love how comfortable our little Cheerio gets. He made a little nest in the pillows on my chair....which is totally OK because he deserves to be warm, comfortable and loved, and THAT he is!

Finally
our Stock Realty & Auction Company Panel has found it's way home. Home on a our wall. Years ago Billy Bobs Bar in Albion Nebraska had business, parties and people take a ceiling tile and OF COURSE Ron had to make it ours. So he took it home painted it and hand painted our logo. It took years to finally find a place that we could hang it.....so now it hangs in our new house in Columbus in our office.
.....and here it is............
and after a Hair Cut, Massage, and Pedicure...and one failed Blood test.........I rewarded myself with a Taco Salad from Taco John's. Been Starving for a Taco Salad all week. This one rocked!!! Will have one again.....no doubt!

Husker Harvest Days Official First Day...
....and it was one hot and windy one.....oh and VERY dusty due to the extended drought of 2012. This lack of rain is getting real old. Everything needs a good drink and a good wash. Not to mention everyone would be in a little better mood :) I have NEVER had my clothes and Myself for that matter be this dirty EVER at Husker Harvest Days. Tomorrow an impending cool off and rain is something to look forward to and pray for! Hopefully it will come. Got to HHD before the sun was up and wiped off filthy tables and computer, but what good it did me.......probably NONE! BUT at least I felt better knowing that wiping up a bit made our food/snack table a little cleaner :)
We conducted our 7th Annual Auction to Benefit St. Jude Hospital. It was a great Auction with lots of wonderful donated items and happy customers. Here are a few Photos from the Auction under our tent at HHD:
It was a fun day....except for that Wind and Heat but hanging out with my nieces and nephews always seems to brighten my day just a little. Andrea asked me to take her and Nicholas to the rope spinning booth next door to ours so they could make a rope. Here is Nick and Andrea hand spinning their Ropes. BOY did that Nick go to town on this thing :)

Nicholas could hardly wait to "get crankin" on his rope. It was too cute! |
Andrea rocked the wheel and made the CUTEST rope with her favorite colors.....of course ONE being purple :) |
I know there are a few more on Ron's phone, so I will update this post once I get my little paws on his phone to upload them...........

Hyvee saves the day.....
Some times Ron surprises me and says "BTW we are having ____________________ and _________________ over for supper. Well today was no different. We were suppose to go to a Wedding Reception but instead I was rushing around trying to figure out what to make for our guests. Well I took off for Hyvee and found Twice baked potatoes for $1.00 all I had to do was pop them in the oven. YEAH Score!! I love twice baked potatoes but man are those suckers hard work. What a treat!
So this meal was my first "Official" meal on our new bar/table. I really love it. Now I am kicking myself for not buying the longer one because it would fit but that 's OK.....we will make it work.
On Another note.....these beautiful 70-80 degree days are much more to my liking. LOVE IT! Wish it was like this every single day of the year!
