Farewell 2007......

Well it is time to say goodbye to 2007. For me it was a good year. It was the year of the 07 in 07. Meaning, a great year for my NASCAR driver Clint Bowyer who drives the 07 car.

I have never been one for resolutions cause I think they put too much stress on a new year. BUT I do like to set goals and I set only one goal for myself to accomplish in 2007 and I did it. Being named to four Scrapbook Creative Teams. Check.

I didn't get to spend as much time with my friend Tommy as I had wished for in 2007, but time will have to be set aside in 2008. I did have a great time with Tommy and Rhonda at Alumni.....never can get tired of those two!

I managed to visit granny in 07. 100 year old granny! WOW! Who is just afew short weeks will turn 101. Amazing. Simply amazing. My niece Alicia inspired me to do a little project for her and I am going to work on that this week. THANKS Alicia for that great idea!

Now, I have a list of two major things to get accomplished in 2008, so by this time next year I hope to have that post for ya.

So to all my wonderful family and friends all of God's blessings in 2008. Know that I love you all and here's to a wonderful 2008! HUGS!!

OMG I never realized how much my brothers and I look alike. NOW this might not be too shocking except we are all adopted....and I swear....I NEVER noticed how we look so much alike. Look at us....my awesome brothers. I love them BOTH so so so so much! I wouldn't trade them for two other brothers......

This is us....trying to get home. Considering we spent the night in Atlanta with no Clean clothes, undewear or anything for that matter...well except for the free Crappy tooth brush.....we look pretty good. Sort of :)

Merry Christmas One and all.....

Well......this is one Christmas that I really appreciate being home. I WILL NOT go into the whole trip home from our cruise story, but needless to say Delta Airlines, may be flying me free of charge sometime soon!

The main reason for me logging in tonight is to wish all my ONLINE friends and family members and very Merry Christmas today. Much love to each of you and watch for updates of our trip and some Christmas photos.

Cruising for Ron & Kristin....

yes....that is correct. Mr Ronnie Boy and I are going on a cruise is just 6 days. I have mixed feelings. I am soooooo excited about being warm, after all this snow, and having a few days to myself in the sun with some sort of coconut drink.....BUT I am scared as hell that I wont make it home in time for Christmas, we are scheduled to get home on the Saturday before Christmas, but weather happens and it makes me sick just thinking about it. It would be the first time in 38 years that I have missed Christmas, but everyone assures me.....it will OK!

This is not the publicity that I would ever dream of for our state. Headlining CNN! NEVER, but here we are. So in response to someone who posted on our states News site over the weekend...yeah..we were concerned with who would be our next football coach and if that was all we had to be worried about it must be nice....well you got your satisfaction....we have ALOT more to worry about now! I think it says ALOT about a place where all we do have to worry about is a football coach...I don't mind being in our shoes....................until today!

As I have told many.....and in a weird way I am honored to say this and be from Nebraska. BUT....

WHEN SOMETHING HAPPENS IN NEBRASKA IT HAPPENS TO ALL OF US!

My heart and prayers go out to all those innocent people who were just there shopping and enjoying the day. My heart has had a hard time going out to the victim.......suicide is a terrible tragedy, but why take totally innocent people with you!! I just don't get it.....can you not see the beauty in human life....

I guess after hearing a story about a woman who was frantically trying to escape with her CHILDREN....COME ON!

I am very sympathic and forgiving person....but why....why hurt people who were so totally innocent after loosing a job at FREAKIN MCDONALDS!!

All I wanted for Christmas......

Was a New Nebraska Head Football coach...and a darn good one....and I think I got my wish!! Former Nebraska Defensive Coordinator Bo Pellini is coming back to the Cornhusker State as the Head Coach of the Nebraska Football team and I have only one sentiment on this.....




THANK THE LORD FOR A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!! Can ya tell I LOVE BO!!
