Turning over a new....

Blogging leaf......

I am trying to take a lesson from my blogging Niece Jessica! She does such a great job and I really want to publish my blog like I did the first four years I blogged. I decided that instead of putting alot of pressure on myself to blog everyday I would try and follow Jessica's lead, starting tomorrow, and blog once a week, with kind of highlight of the week. Unless something earth shaking happens.

I guess I didn't realize people actually read my blog until a friend of mine, who I had no idea even knew my blog existed said she missed reading up on our lives through my blog. What a shocker that was :) Who would have imagined that my life would be so interesting.

Today was a rare quite Sunday Funday at our house. I must say that I needed a day to sit in peace and quite with Ron and Cheerio. Ron of course, filled my entire dining room table with papers, envelopes, computers and sticky notes in just one short hour. I decided to ignore it and make myself a nice little nest on the couch with Cheerio and settle in to watch our Favorite NASCAR driver Clint Bowyer race at New Hampshire. Clint's won here before so I always enjoy watch the NH Race at Loudon. However, Clint struggled with a wacky handling car and a flat tire....all I have to say is after listening to his in car radio on my phone I had to put it on mute :) Here is Cheerio and I hanging out watchin some racin!

We love watching our Favorite Driver race.....GO CLINT BOWYER!
I nested myself so well that I fell sound asleep during the race. I woke up with about 100 laps to go. Clint was struggling. It was painful to listen to and watch he was just stuck. I am not sure what the heck happened during the final Green-white-Checkered finish but that man somehow vaulted him self from 21st to 13th place. Thank gosh because a 21 place finish was NOT what we needed at all.

But on another note! Our Michael Waltrip Racing teammate Brian Vickers driving the #55 won the race. That team has been so close all year to winning. I was happy that Brian won, he's had alot of diversity the last few years and deserved this win. Way to go Brian! Now it's time for the #15 car to get into Victory lane!!!!

Totally Cool Brian! Loved how he was high fiving the fans as he went by!! That was so darn cool!

Loved how the whole crew ran out onto the race track! I love it when the underdogs win!!!
Had some surprise vistors, Tom and Sue Korus. What a nice visit we had, we were then joined by friends Joe and Sharlene and Darrell and Carol to celebrate Sharlene's birthday. We packed up and headed into Duncan for Supper and the new Uncle Shaky's. Everyone seemed happy and full.

Returned back home to try and get the jump on laundry and packing! Headed to the second of three Big Iron meetings this month. Off to Rock Island, Illinois for week two! Then on to Pulaski Wisconsin for some Polish fun!!!!!

  1. I didn't think my life was that interesting, either, but some people enjoy reading what I write for whatever reason. I also enjoy journaling about my life, and the blog is a fun way to do that since I can add photos, easily. Glad I helped re-inspire you. I'm one of your followers! Plus, when I advertise it on Facebook I get extra hits on a day.
